Spencer Plizga
*School: Utica
*Sport: Baseball
*Clutch performance: Plizga had two clutch hits and plays that were key to his team¡¯s 5-4 comeback win over Ford. Plizga scored a run in the bottom of the fourth and drove in a run with a double in the fifth. He also pitched and struck out five batters in the game. Plizga later had three hits and two RBI in a 6-3 win over Lamphere.

Three Utica Chieftain players were selected to the All Macomb County Spring Break Classic tournament team. They were Jon Nelson, Jason Palazzolo, & Spencer Plizga. Congratulations men for a job well done.

Josh Johnson earns post-season award
"The Macomb Daily" 6-23-2006
Josh Johnson made the Macomb County Division I All-Star Baseball Team - First Team.
Josh had a 4-3 record and a 1.83 ERA; pitched 69 innings, allowing 58 hits, 21 walks, and striking out 71; batted .329 with 26 hits.
