What is the purpose of the Village Christian Schools dance team?

 

The VCS Dance team is a groups of girls who come together to glorify God, support and encourage school spirit, train in the area of dance, and be a representative of Village Christian Schools.

 

What does the VCS Dance team do?

 

Hold tryouts

Expect and hold dancers accountable for academic excellence

Train in technique and the skill of dance

Attend dance camp

Perform in front of audiences

Dance at the JV and Varsity football and basketball games

Host the VCS Dance Elem./Middle school dance clinic

Dance at off campus events (i.e. LA Avengers arena football, Azusa Pacific University)

Participate in Homecoming

Hold team outings

Partcipate in service projects

Fundraise

Devotions

Big Sis/Little Sis dance team prayer partners

5th grade buddies with Rm. 61

Football and basketball prayer and support buddies

Support and participate in school functions

Work along side of the VCS Cheer team to promote school spirit and unity

Compete
