Waco Blast Premier Futbol Club Looks to Add New Teams

In a meeting Sunday October 16th, the President of the Waco Blast Premier Futbol Club, Steve Bravo presented the club's proposals to many of the top Heart of Texas area soccer coaches. The goal of the presentation was to answer questions about what Waco Blast Premier Futbol could offer the youth enrolled in current soccer programs. The presentation touched on several key points such as cost per player and cost per team. Steve's passion for the sport of soccer and his desire to elevate Waco's young soccer stars into the spotlight was quite evident. "It is all about the Players" said Bravo. "It's not about the parents. It's not about coaches, and it is not about the money." The Waco Blast Premier Futbol Club does not pay its coaches and can keep costs lower for the players and their families. All proceeds go back into the club. "We have been approached by several parents and sponsors to add teams to play alongside the Waco Blast, The Waco Blast Premier Futbol Club's 95 Boys Team," Bravo said with a smile. "We want to grow the club but we need coaches. That's the purpose of this meeting. I would have never guessed that there would be this much interest."
The Waco Blast 95 boys is the first team to play under the Waco Blast Premier Futbol Club. They currently call the "Field of Dreams" soccer complex home.
Mark Burkte, Assistant Blast Coach was also there.

Waco Blast Coaches are dedicated volunteers committed to the physical, technical, tactical, and psychological development of the youth soccer players in central Texas. Waco Blast Coaches enjoy teaching and fostering good sportsmanship on and off the field. The club philosophy is that success is not measured by the win-loss column alone, but rather by the development of each young man and woman.
