Jail Break
Team Jail Break is a Mens slow pitch softball team based out of Walla Walla Washington. Team Jail Break started out in 1993 known then as The Walla Walla Merchants, Coached by Mike Casper, that name stayed until 1998 when the team split, With several players opting to move to other local teams. At this time the Team became Casper Taxidermy and played limited ball in Waitsburg Washington. There was no Team in 1999 Due to many players having work restrictions and Mike Casper deciding not to put a team together. In 2000 Mike Casper decided to get the team going again, this time under the name Blue Mountain Casino. This name stayed until 2002 when Mike Casper brought back Mike Postlewait and Rich Gies two of the original Walla Walla Merchant players. At this time The team played under the Pepsi/Rdl name. in 2003 another original Merchant rejoined the team, Mike Armijo. The team then changed it's name back to the Walla Walla Merchants for the 2004 season. The 2005 season the team once again had a big change, now Team Jail break coached by Mike Postlewait comes back to the Diamond with a new look from last Year. Returning Players are Mike Postlewait moving from Catcher to Pitcher, Rich Gies 1B, Mike Armijo 2B, J.R Delgadillio SS, Joel Lopez moving from Utility to 3B, Mark Moffitt RF, John Boggs RC, Donnie Johnson LF, New Players are chad Tennant LC/inf, and Russ Hunt Of/inf, Ray Partridge P/C, Gale Moseley OF, Darren Hawkins OF/Inf Look for a better defensive club than last year. and once again a team that will not quit.
