Please be advised that this award will be applied towards your league's purchase of 2012 Chartis player accident insurance through Little League's national insurance program and will be reflected on your July, 2011 statement. Furthermore, your safety plan has been entered into the Musco Lighting, Inc. awards program and winners will be announced in August, 2011.

The Wharton Area Little League is a nationally chartered organization and has served hundreds of girls and boys from Wharton and Mine Hill since 1954. Current league size is approximately 250 children ages 4 through 16, playing in various skill levels from T-ball to Sr. League. Wharton Area Little League offers a separate girl's softball program for girls ages 7 through 16. We are a member of several local Inter-Leagues and all of our older teams play other towns in the area.

We hope that our Little League program will assist your son or daughter in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty and not the winning/losing aspect of the game, the Little League program is designed to develop superior citizens as well as superior athletes.
