November 22, 2009 --
Important Highlights:
Hey Team,
We battled hard today...it was unfortunate we couldn't capitalize on our opportunities but we played a passionate game. As discussed before the game, I have some changes ahead for the winter...
Training: As the girls know, I have a new trainer in store for the team. He will work in fine-tuning the girls' skills, and working on the basic fundamentals of the game so that in the spring we will have a more dominant season. Our sessions will be held Sunday nights from 7-9 at Sagamore. The sessions will start the first Sunday after the new year. We will be sharing the large gym with another team. After our training each week, we will conclude with a scrimmage.
Games: I am hoping the get the team involved in a few indoor tournaments this winter to keep the intensity up for the spring.
Christmas Party: After the game, the girls asked to have a Christmas party. So... we will be having a party on Saturday December 5th, 5:00 PM at my house. We will have pizza, and back by popular demand, The Chocolate Fountain. Let's do a grab bag...bring a wrapped $10 gift for it.
I hope to see everyone on December 5th.
