Long overdue Interview with the great one, let's get to it.....
I been playing since I am 10..
What team did you start with?
Seven precinct Road Runners Tackle team when I was 16.
About how many Championships you have?
I have way too many to count.
How did you end up playing for Carver?
There is a handful of guys I really wanted to Team up with and Chuck is one of them.
How much do you think you have left in the tank?
I go year by year and leave it at that.
Why do you think you was able to last playing this long?
I am truly a blessed man..I take care of myself the best I can and appreciate every day of my life.. No secrets just healthy living.
How did it feel to "Run the City" with Carver?
It is a great feeling to be a part of this great Team. Pamzie is a great Coach and motivator.
Why didn't you show for the SH playoff games vs F.O.E?
I know people want it to be a juicy reason but the fact of the matter was I tore my god damn contact, with no extras, and couldn't see shit! So yea I am human..I wear contacts and without them I am blind. Lol!

Why are you no longer a SH player?
The SH in which I started with was history and I needed to move on.
How did you end up playing for Carver this season in every league?
Carver has always made me feel like a part of there team without any politics. I wanted to just play ball.
When you saw Tone (SH Founder) what did he say to you?
It was a friendly conversation between 2 Men who havent talked for a while.
Now that Tone is home do you think you will go back to SH?
I have all the respect for Tone and wish SH the best of luck, but I am happy where I am.

What is the difference between the great SH teams you played on and the great Carver teams you played on?
The great SH teams which consisted of Kevin, June, Papo, Ralph, Moya, Joe Blow, Chase, Rocky, Gotti, Romi, etc...and I point this out because they are all gone, was an amazing Team when at its best was unified.. The great Carver teams have always had an amazing unity amongst its players which makes for a Great successful team. I will give a slight edge to Carver because of Chuck's knowledge of the game and consistency as Carver's QB..
How did it feel to play against SH after being a part of that team for so long?
I never really played against the real SH, Playing against the present SH team was a bit awkward but I give every game, NO MATTER WHAT TEAM I AM ON OR WHO I AM PLAYING AGAINST....MY BEST..
How did it feel to "Run the City" with Carver?

What defender or defenders do you feel guard you the best?
Nobody.. (Lol) I would have to say Swiss, Akon,Pito, Joe Blow and Rell.

What do you think makes BQFL different from the other leagues?
BQFL is different because there is more of a variety of talent to compete with and the level of intensity is much higher...Alot more trash talk LOL
Since your arguably the best receiver that ever played, do you think a Qb makes a receiver better or the receiver makes the Qb look better?
I think that it is necessary for a Qb and a Receiver to understand and trust one anothers game. GAME KNOWS GAME. A Qb and Receiver need each other as well as the Team around them..

I'm here with Coach Pamz of Carver Mobb, let's get to it....
When did you start playing football?
We started playing on the block way B4 we joined leagues so I'm gonna say like 25 years. Yeah I'm a O.G
What teams did you play for?
Carver Mobb first n foremost but I was 1 of the originals on Sugar Hill in 96.
How did Carver Mobb become a team?
We always was a team started with baseball then basketball, then we just decided to play in 112 on concrete n we just stuck with our block name.
How did you become the coach?
Well I was always a player coach, but since a teen my voice was respected so it just happen. Now I feel I'm the best Coach Motivator in the City. Real shit.
How many Championships does Carver have?
Real talk I stop counting after 30, it doesn't even matter no more cause no team is coming close to those numbers.
Carver Ran the city before you got locked up, had some success (with Will) but then Ran it again when you came home, why do the players respond to you?
Like I said it's my energy they way I motivate players they just respond to me, I coach with a passion, I'm on those sidelines with so much energy u would think I'm playing n the players love seeing that shit. But Coach Will did a hell of a job, I left him in charge for a reason n he held my MOBB together for the 2- in half years I was gone. Shout out to coach Will 4 holding a nigga down for real.
Speaking of that how does it feel to win all three major leagues?
Listen that feeling is like no other, n to do it twice. Looking back no other team did that n to do it b4 I went in then 2 do it when I come out, come on Shout out to my motherfucking Mobb.
What did it take to accomplish that?
Losing that Championship to Underated, N the Nones n Barista saying my motherfucking brother Chuck was washed up. Thank you Nones n Barista keep doing your job. Also those good players to gel n play as 1, once that happened we became unstoppable. By the way we averaged 42pts a game during that run. Just some coach shit.
We know our brother/teammate Moya's daughter passed in December(RIP Ella), how did that effect the team?
When that happened it brought us together as a family n put all our bullshit, personal shit to the side n play for her. That shit hit home n we all felt it. That's our Angel SIP ELLA! That would be on our Jerseys 4-ever.
Does it ever get tiring?(Winning)
Hell no, cause this shit ain't 4-ever so we gonna keep doing what we do 2 we can't no more.
Some people say playing TFL style of football is recreation, what do you think?
Really that's to people who don't love the game the way we do. It's rec. but it's also Business nuff said!!!!
Carver's defense played well in that run but a lot of teams/players shit on Carver's defense, why do you think they do?
Well I guess numbers don't lie, every game at least 2-3 stops, in this TFL shit that's great D especially when u putting 50 plus pts. a game. Shout out 2 Joe blow, Jay, Ike, Naz, Moya, Danny, Mijo n Red.
How do you know Tone (creator of SH)?
Me n tone go back 30 years when we was Lil niggas playing basketball for Coach Tone ( Mustangs). That's my motherfucking nigga B4 this football shit. Welcome Home my G!
How do you think Tone being home will effect SH?
U gonna c a lot of changes, more players. They lacking depth n he knows how to assemble a team. N on some real shit loyalty is everything, u can't B a dickhead cause niggas respect honesty n real ness. That's just how I c it.
So when did the SH n Carver rivalry start?
In 97 when they came 2 112st league n it been war ever since, but really we all grew up with each other so it's deeper than that. Way 2 much history 2 get into 2.
Which league would you say was the hardest to win?
Honestly City Island hands down that's the Mecca of this football shit, no diss to other leagues but it is what it is. Look at the road we had 2 take 2 win the chip. 1st round the U, next round G-MEN then Sugar Hill. Come on u name 3 other teams in other leagues we had to face week after week to win the chip. I'm just stating facts.
Picking up Mimi was key, why did you feel he could help Carver?
That motherfucker brings so much fucking energy n toughness, he plays the game 150%. When we lost the chip I went right over to him in the back of the end zone n he said that wasn't Carver Mobb football then I said well u need to get down n bring that shit n the rest is history. Now the worst thing is that motherfucker still hungry.
Who do you feel make up the top5 players in TFL?
I really don't want 2 answer cause I'm gonna B bias, but everybody needs to wake up now cause my man Naz #7 is a straight killer on that field. Now give him the props he deserves.
What team do you feel you can coach and have a good chance of winning a chip?
I just had a talk with Alvaro, but put me on that sideline with a couple of pick ups they can get over that hump (Bomb Squad). But honestly u can check the record I took a couple of other teams to the promise land also.
Do you get asked a lot of coaching questions?
Hell yeah, not on no cocky shit but I gave a lot of dudes words of wisdom 4 there team. Since last year my phone has been ringing off the hook, dudes wanna know what I do to get the respect from everybody on the team. Bottom line I told em shit don't happen overnight, you gotta be consistent with it.
Do you miss playing?
Hell yeah, especially now that I'm in shape but my greatest asset to my MOBB is on the sidelines. That's just what I do, if I played I couldn't b in the game mentally. So 2 answer that I'm good as long as we winning n running the city. Coach Pamz I'm off this, shout out 2 my brother/QB the greatest ever Chuck aka Childs play.

I LOST THE LOVE FOR THE GAME .....THE LAST YEAR BECAME WORK INSTEAD OF HAVING FUN....I WAS READY TO RETIRE AFTER THE GATER GAME IN LINDSEY BUT COULDNT LEAVE AFTER A GAME LIKE THAT..PLUS ALL THE GUYS IVE BEEN PLAYING WITH AND GREW UP WITH ALL DONT PLAY ANYMORE....AND AS LONG AS MATT HAD A GOOD TEAM TO PLAY WITH I COULD WALK AWAY AND BE HAPPY WITH MY SELF

I MADE SOME MISTAKES...BIG AND SMALL.FROM WHAT PEOPLE TELL ME IVE BEEN GOOD SO FAR....IM FAIR WITH ALL TEAMS....I GUESS WHY THAT CLOWN JUNE SAID IM TERRIBLE CAUSE I GUESS HE FIGURED ID GIVE BK ALL THE CALLS.....
Do you feel differently about refs now that are one?
NO....I ONLY GAVE KIMMY A HARD TIME....I KNEW IT WAS A HARD JOB DEALING WITH ALL U ASSHOLES EVERY WEEK...
What made you decide to start throwing again?

What do you think is the difference between the bk teams and the uptown teams as far as approaching games and executing?
HONESTLY IVE NEVER SEEN A TRUE UPTOWN TEAM..MOST OF THEM COME IN AS MIXED UP TEAMS....

I did'nt leave the Titans, we shut it down because we had issues as a team... players were not showing up we never had a full unit so mikey shut it down...i had retired because of nagging injuries... started reffing and through reffing i got healty... the Rays were making noise by making it to the chip vs new breed ... they had ask me to play, i felt that i could help there running game... the Titans were done so i accepted there invitation...
Do you think Phree is a great qb? (top 3)Phree is deffinitly a great QB for so many reasons... He can hold his weight in the top 3... his arm is great , he has the awearness and the chips to back it up... what more do you need to be top three... maybe a defending championship win!!! i can see it...

What do you think about the controversy surrounding the B division and the teams having too many A players?Originally the B division were for the teams that could'nt hang in the A division... but when niggas see teams win, they want in on the action... so then you have teams stacking just to compete!!! but i think the problem occured, cause there is a flaw in the rule!!! there is no deffinition of a A player... you have a player that plays in the A division, but he might not be that good, or he does not get burn because his team has better players... so the league allow him to play in the B division and he is not considered a A division player... so the problem with that is, the teams get there typical 4 A division players, plus the guys who are not considered A division player and that is the problem... where niggas feel that one team has to much A type players but not in the eyes of the higher ups!!! what i think they should do is, stick to the rules thats what made this division so good... let darrin do what he do he is fair and always gets it right !!! at the end of the day you still have to strap up and play football!!!

How long have u been playing football?I have been playing football for 20 years in the leagues.
How long have u been playing for the Titans?I been playing with the Titans for 10 years I think. LOL
How did u end up playing for the Titans?I was one of the originators that started the Titans with Mike, because he was a former player when I was Quarterback.
How many chips do u have n where?I have over 12 Chips combined. These chips came from Coney Island, Kissena Blvd, Church League, ETS, BQFL.
I see u have been the qb when Phree hasn't been there, how long have you been throwing?I was the original showtime QB for the Titans and one several championships QB'ing. 20 years QB'ing in tackle and touch leagues.
I hear u wanna qb in the spring, why not start in the B division?I have never been a B Division QB and know that if an organization wants to win, they will give ICE Water as Tone would say the Helm. If you give me two good receivers, let alone 6 at a time. I will compete and put my team in a position to win games. I have a lot to prove and no disrespect to the B, I can only prove my greatness in the A. So whatever GM takes that chance, I guarantee everyone will look back at this interview and say TMVP is one of the greatest.
How much longer do u think you will play?I will play until these young upstarts make me look old and I am putting a bad product out there. So I can't say, because as long as the body and health and game is still there, I am playing.
Do you think Phree is a top 3 qb? why?I definitely fill Phree is a top three QB and that is not because he won three championships with the Titans. Before now I would have said no, because in the big games excuses were made as to why he didn't bring his A game, by Mike and Phree. His maturity this season is why I say he is one of the top three now. He accepts responsibility with no excuses, and adapted to defenses when the plays breakdown, instead of throwing that game breaking interception. His speeches are better now, and his leadership is shown on and off the field, unless Sarge gets close and says something to him (LMAO).
Some games Phree looks unstoppable n others he looks like he can't find the endzone, why do u think that is?Phree in a zone is unstoppable. Phree looks average when he doesn't warm up correctly and distracted with his mind elsewhere and not in the game. His preparation means he will have a great game. With no preparation he will throw interceptions and not make his reads, because the mental part of the game is not there. Scouting report for all up and coming competition. LOL
Nobody really gave the Titans a shot to win it all but now that u did u will b the hunted, can your team handle that?Real talk with all of Mike's(aka Jesse Jackson) speeches from the beginning were about one goal. That was winning the championship and we truly believed in ourselves, knowing that all uptown teams was busting Brooklyn's ass the last few seasons. I had a lot of fake dudes wishing the Titans luck in the championship from Brooklyn, but taking their money and betting on the Bulldawgz. I can't hate, because the fact is Brooklyn was stinking it up. Sorry niggaz lost rent, because we like the real teams out there set out to not come in 2nd. Being the hunted is the best, because that means you achieved greatness to be hunted. So to all teams bring it to the Mighty Titans, we have that honor until next season. LOL
What did winning the chip in BQFL mean to u n ur Titan team?Winning the Championship meant everything to me personally and definitely us the Titans as a team. I been talking shit from the day I kicked the door down as a youngin in these leagues to 1st make a name for myself. I now talk good football trash as an OG and back it up personally every time I step on the field and respect the game. The Championship makes all the hard work in preseason and soap opera bullshit worth it in the end. The bones are older and I can't play 20 games in one day like before, so to win a championship with the Titans in BQFLwith all the hate from our own borough, and hearing crickets now means everything for us Titans.
I know your a very confident player but what team u feel u have the toughest time against?I not only cocky, I'm confident is an understatement. If the QB throw it, I have no tough time against any team. I make no excuses as a receiver, if the ball touches my hands it will be caught. The toughest team is the Titans if Phree has an off day.
You watch alot of football so who do u give props to as a reciever?Man there is so many that have arrived and up in coming receivers in all these leagues. I give props to all receivers on every team, because man TRIBORO football has some ballers. Props to all my receivers out there, a few props will not fit on the page.
You give props to the OG's of the game but what youngins u can say can ball?Youngin's are doing there thing. OG's get those titles for bodies of work over the years. I give props to all the youngin's because they are the legacy of our game and will carry the torch forward. So I give props to all Youngin's too many carrying that torch.One message to the Youngin's" Keep it Football always with your trash talk and to respect this great game is to respect yourselves and each other" This is a fraternity and a Family that has no price value to it. So when I here the Youngin's talking non-football trash and Gangster on the GB and to each other, that leads to violence and this is not TRIBORO football.
Do you feel any players r overrated? If so who?Yes there are so many, but I will put one on Blast" I feel that if NewBreed organization had Sarge coaching instead of throwing for their A teams with all their great players. They truly had a chance to win several championships. This is my opinion certified by the wheelchair classic-aka-TMVP-aka-Titan Champs. LOL Sarge seriously you are not an A QB. I know most will talk behind his back, I say it in his face and on the GB, because I am a real dude.
What do you think about Fish coming out of retirement?I am Glad Fish is coming out of retirement, because he sucked as a ref. I think he is a good QB, but I played with him and personally feel he can't do it with the new age competition now. The players are stronger, bigger and faster like a new HTC or IPhone. Fish is a 2G QB coming into a 5G world.
Why haven't you played outside of brooklyn? (uptown leagues)I so badly want to play uptown, because I am a competitor and thanks to Skip I get to see the real hard fought games and great trash talk uptown. I would play for Uptown in a heartbeat if I get that call from a Team uptown. Titans come 1st schedule wise.
What team gives u the most pleasure winning against?Carver, Carver, Carver man I love playing against you fucks. Boo-Boo, Chuck aka( Best in the Business) number 7 that always pick off Phree, and that whole movement called Carver Mobb, made this championship most forfilling of all. No disrespect to Bulldawgz, but I felt we won the championship when we got past Carver Mobb----Yes I fucking said it! Cuz I am real and the TMVP.
