The 2020 Fall Outdoor Basketball League begins Saturday 9/19 and Sunday 9/20.
- All Games will be played at Hank Waltonowski Park (Ashwood Drive, 08723) or Arrowhead Park (161 Village Way, 08724)
- For Week 1 and Week 2, each team will play once on Saturday and once on Sunday. Starting Week 3 (Oct. 3rd) games will be played every Saturday, with the exception of rain-outs and make-up games.
- There are NO PLAYOFFS for the Boys 4-5 and Girls 4-5 divisions.
- Playoffs for all other divisions will be October 31st and November 1st.
- All games will be two 20 minute running halves. The last 2 minutes of the game is stopped time on the whistle.
- Player substitutions will be made every 10 minutes.
COVID Rules and Procedures
- ALL participants must have signed COVID waiver prior to league play and participation. (please see form below)
- ONLY players, coaches, refs and staff are permitted on the playing court throughout designated game times.
- All players, coaches, refs and staff will be temperature checked at designated check-in area prior to being allowed onto the playing surface. All players and personnel must be symptom free to participate.
- Courts must be completely cleared from previous games before teams for the next game may enter at temperature check-in area.
- All benches, basketballs, restrooms and tables will be sanitized by maintenance staff at the completion of each game.
- Please refrain from arriving to the courts more than 10 minutes earlier than you scheduled game time to help avoid unnecessary crowding.
- Parents, please practice social distancing when watching from outside of the playing area.

SANCTIONS
Any parent, participant, player, guest, spectator, coach or official at any youth sports event sponsored by the Brick Township Recreation Department who initiates a fight, scuffle or any type of physical abuse or threats of abuse towards any participant, player, coach, official, parent or spectator may be subject to a verbal and/or written warning, a suspension from the particular youth sports event in attendance or may be banned from attendance at all youth sports events sponsored by The Brick Recreation Department for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the incident. |

Any parent, participant, player, guest, spectator, coach or official at any youth sports event sponsored by the Brick Township Recreation Department who verbally abuses officials, participants, coaches, players or spectators, including the use of obscene or profane language or jesters, racial, ethnic or sexual slurs, may be subject to a verbal and/or written warning or, in severe cases, suspended from the subject event and/or banned from attendance at all youth events sponsored by the Brick Township Recreation Department for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the incident. |

Any parent, participant, player, guest, spectator or official at any youth sports event sponsored by the Brick Township Recreation Department who throws or causes to be deposited any object on the field of play, court or rink during any youth sports event sponsored by the Brick Recreation Department may be suspended from the subject event and/or banned from attendance at all youth events sponsored by the Brick Recreation Department for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the incident. |

Any parent, participant, player, official, coach or spectator at any youth sporting event shall be subject to the authority of all field officials, including umpires, referees and appointed league officials or coaches of the youth sports activity. This authority shall also include any youth teams, practice or instructional event, and such authority shall include the authorization to direct any persons involved in any incident in violation of this chapter or applicable Code of Conduct to immediately remove themselves from the premises. |

Any parent, participant, player, official, coach or spectator who violates one or more of the provisions contained in the Code of Conduct, either during the same event, or separate events, may be banned from attending, coaching, officiating, participating in any youth sports events sponsored by the Brick Township Recreation Department for a period not exceeding 12 months if the person:

Any parent, coach or spectator who violates one or more of the provisions contained in the Code of Conduct during an event may be asked to vacate the premises immediately along with his or her child who, if necessary, will be removed from game play.
