T318: New 2016 BSA Rank Requirements for all Scouts
Greetings Troop 318,
The Boy Scouts of America has updated/changed all the scout ranks requirements for 2016. Attached is a FAQ and Info-graph to explain when a current scout must work on the new requirements. Attached is the new versus the old requirements side by side comparison. Attached is a printable double sided insert of the sign-off pages for your scout handbook. You do not need to purchase a new scout handbook.
All scouts need to know of the rank requirement changes. Please read along with your scout these documents.

T318: How To Fold the New Tents - Scouts, Please read.
Instructions come from Mr Sadowski who was able to put all 20 tents into their bags easily.
In order to get the tent back into the tent bag, you will need to do the following:
The tent is 107 " x 84": Go to the sides that are 84" long and fold in half. Now the tent is 42" wide. Now, fold that side in half again. This will now make the folded tent 21" wide. It should be smaller than the poles.
Take the poles and place them at one end of the tent and start rolling tightly. The tent should now be able to go easily back into the bag.
I believe everyone was folding the tent into thirds and it was almost impossible to get the tent back into the bag.
