Halloween Parade

For the third straight year Magic will participate in the Mechanicsburg Halloween parade.  This year's parade is scheduled for Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00 PM.

14U Blue News

Cumberland County Magic 14u Blue is looking for a few players to round out our roster.  We are looking for a pitcher and an outfielder but will consider players who play other positions as well.  This is a new team in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg Area which will provide an opportunity for significant playing time for players who want to work hard and develop individually and as a team. 2016-2017 Tryout Dates Announced

Cumberland County Magic tryouts will be held on July 27^th, August 5^th, August 6^th, and August 14^th.  The location for all tryouts will be Winding Hill East Park (4 fields). The address for the park is 901 East Winding Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

For July 27^th and August 5th, registration will begin at 6 p.m. with tryouts starting at 6:30 p.m. and concluding by 8:30 p.m.  For August 6^thand 14^th, registration will start at noon with tryouts beginning at 1:00 p.m. and concluding by 3:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact one of the board members or call (717) 439-9055. 

18U Wins Find-A-Cure Championship

After starting the tournament with a 2-1 record on Saturday, Oct 25, the Magic 18U Elite swept three games on Sunday, Oct. 26 to win the championship of the USSSA Find A Cure Tournament in Stephens City, Virginia.  It was a total team effort all the way, especially on Sunday, when the Magic won its three games by a combined score of 22-4.  The team finished the fall season with a record of 8-2. 

18U Elite Recent Successess

Congratulations to our 18U team for winning their last two tournaments.   First, they won the USSSA Stars & Stripes tournament at Norlo Park. They went 3-1-1 in pool play and went 3-0 in bracket play to bring home the championship. This past weekend they won the Sunbury ASA Invitational tournament with a thrilling extra inning win against the Big Blue Wrecking Crew out of Minersville PA. They were down 6-0 going into the 6th inning and came back to tie the game in the sixth and then won it with 2 runs in the 8th inning. That’s their third 1st Place finish this season.  Way to go!

18U Elite Wins USSSA Find A Cure Tournament

The 18U Magic Elite went 5-1 this weekend and won the championship at the USSSA Find A Cure Tournament in Winchester, VA.  The team went 3-0 in bracket play and outscored its opponents 22-4 on Sunday to win the championship.  Great job, Ladies!!! 

12U Team Looks to Add Two Players

Avery Winchell selected ASA JO Player of the Week

Organizational Meeting Set for September 15

On Sunday, September 15th at 6:00 PM, there will be an organizational meeting for all players and parents of the Magic 2013/2014 teams. This meeting will be held at the Bongiorno Conference Center, 430 Union Hall Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.

Benefit Spaghetti Dinner on December 15

Join us on Saturday, December 15 between 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Capital Area Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 for a spaghetti dinner to benefit the Cumberland County Magic's 14U-Red and 12U-Red teams. Magic Announces Tryouts

Cumberland County Magic tryouts will be held on August 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th. The locations for the tryouts are as follows: August 11th at CV High School, August 12th at New Cumberland Borough Park, August 18th at CV High School, and August 19th at Heishman's Softball Complex. 12U Blue To Hold Open Tryouts

The Cumberland County Magic 12UBLUE team will be holding open tryouts on Sundays in February from 4-6 PM at the Advanced Hoops Center in Harrisburg. Advanced Hoops is located at 6003 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. The team is looking for two additional girls to fill out the squad. Spring practices will be held in the New Cumberland area and the team will play in 6-7 tournaments through the Spring/Summer Season. 12U  Blue Team Announces Additional Tryouts

The 12U Cumberland County Magic Blue Team will hold two additional tryouts on October 29th from 3-5 PM and October 30th from 3-5 PM at Boro Field in Boro Park in New Cumberland. Upcoming Tryouts

Cumberland County Magic tryouts will be held on August 6th, 7th, 20th, and 21st. The location for the Saturday tryouts on August 6th and 20th will take place at Big Spring High School. The Sunday tryouts on August 7th and 21st will be held at Cumberland Valley High School. Registration will begin at noon with tryouts beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding by 3 p.m. Please contact one of the board members for additional information.

Pig Roast on Saturday, April 9

The Cumberland County Magic Girls Fastpitch Softball Association will be hosting a Pig Roast on Saturday, April 9, 2011. The Pig Roast will be held from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Mechanicsburg Club Picnic Pavilion located at 80 Glendale Drive off of Wertzville Road (Rte. 944) in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The buffet style meal will include: Roasted Pig, stuffing, gravy, corn and roll. Water is included. Soda and dessert can be purchased for an additional cost.

Cost of the ticket is $12 per person. Please contact one of the players, coaches, or board members to purchase tickets.

Magic to Host Pig Roast Fundraiser on April 9
