The CT Trojans Shocked and amazed CT by breezing through the top teams in the state quite easily. Trojans win their 1st chip of the year in what was probably the most competitive event in the CT CUP series this year.
The New Britain Young Gunz took their 3rd championship in their 4th attempt at league play. The question is, is this the greatesT team ever assembled? The championship game was not even close as Chris Roberts has only lost 1 elimination game in all CFFL events.
The Steel Curtain has brought the Championship "Back Home" as they say. Steelers down the entire game until a safety by Kendal "Swin Brown put them on the scoreboard . Down 3-2 to the Knights late in the 2nd half. Knights tack on another field foal to go up 6-2. With 2 minutes remaining Jamie "Rocket Bryant leads a 2 minute drive and scores with 31 seconds left to put the game away. Bryants game winning TD made up for the 3 INTS he had on the day. Southington Knight s were held to scoring only 2 field goals by the Steel Curtain Defense. Knights held the lead the entire game until the final 31 seconds! Congratulations to the Hartford Steelers!
