(From 1996-1999, the playoffs were run as 2 separate double elimination tournaments, with the winners meeting in a best-of-3 series. From 2000-2012, and 2019-2021, the playoffs were held in a round-by-round format, with the finals being best-of-5 {In 2007 and 2011-12, the finals were best-of-7; in 2021-23, they were best-of-3}. From 2013-2018, a tournament was held to determine the champion instead of a final series. We do not have the specific results, other than the winner and their opponent, prior to 2001.)

*-(Note: Because of shifts in church membership, or pastors being appointed to new churches, sometimes the same group of players have competed under different names over the years. We have tried to maintain continuity in record keeping as well as possible. For teams currently in the league, it is acknowledged that EOT competed as Cherry Tree Alliance (2000-2011) {in 2012, there was a separate Cherry Tree Alliance team competing}; Calvary United Methodist competed as Immaculate Conception (2004-2005), St. Peter's Episcopal (2006-2010), Trinity Presbyterian (2011-2016) and then again as St. Peter's Episcopal (2017-2020). Among teams not currently in the league, Mosaic Ministries (2014-2022) previously competed as McClellandtown Free Methodist (1996-2005) and Fairdale FM (2006-2009) {Fairdale changed the name of their church to Carmichaels FM (2010-2013) during their time in the league}. Mountainview also competed as Pechin's Chapel.

 

One final team note: with Mosaic Minstries bowing out of the league for the 2023 season, there are now no teams remaining who have competed in every season of FCCSL history. Mosaic was the last remaining original team, known as McClellandtown Free Methodist at the time. Cove Run Free Methodist and Faith Assembly of God are now the only current teams who were also in the league at the beginning; however, both did not compete for multiple years in the 2010's.

Ronnie Wadsworth Sportsmanship Award Winners
(Starting in 2008, the league began awarding one player who exemplified Christian character and sportsmanship throughout the season. Each manger nominates a player from his own team, and then all managers vote on the winner, with the stipulation that they cannot vote for their own player. The league decided to name the award after the first recipient, Ronnie Wadsworth, who  consistently set a high example of Christ-like behavior on the field during his career. Fayette County/Greene County Church League All-Star Challenge
Since 2010, All-Star teams from the Fayette and Greene County Church Leagues have played each other in a 9-inning contest. The game is played at Mulholland Field (except in 2016) with the teams alternating home teams and rules, starting in 2010 with Fayette County serving as home team.
