Fort Zumwalt Youth Wrestling Club

Welcome to the homepage of the Fort Zumwalt Youth Wrestling Club.  Registration is now closed for the Season. Please check back for details regarding High School summer camps. The 2023-24 registration will open September 1.

Our wrestlers compete in AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) and USA Wrestling sanctioned tournaments throughout the season.  We encourage coming to two practices per week and competing in as many tournaments as you like.  Practices are held at Fort Zumwalt North AND Fort Zumwalt South High School. Typically, beginners K-5th and girls practice Monday and Wednesday. Experienced/Intermediate and 6-8th practice Tuesday/Thursday. Practices start early November with the season concluding with AAU State the end of February and USAW in March. 

• Registration for the entire season (Beginning of November-end of February) in AAU tournaments only - $150.
• Registration for AAU & USAW tournaments (Beginning of November-mid March) - $175.  
• Registration for Session 1 only (Beginning of November-end of Decemeber) - $100. 
• Registration for Session 2 only (Beginning of January-end of February) NO TOURNAMENTS - $100.
• Multi child discount, $25 off for the second child (full season registrations ONLY)
• Tournaments range in price from $20 and up (payments are submitted the week before tournament).  We offer an optional fundraiser to help cover these costs incurred during the season. 
• Your registration fee includes member cards for AAU/USAW, club T-shirt, practice sessions, and end of the year pizza party banquet.  A singlet is provided, we do require a $100 deposit (your check will only be cashed if the singlet is not returned upon completion of season).  Shoes and headgear are not provided.

LATE REGISTRATION FEES ($15) WILL BE APPLIED AFTER OCTOBER 15TH.

Practice schedule is subject to change depending on number of registrants and skill level of wrestlers:

Beginners (1st and 2nd year wrestlers) and Girls: Monday and Wednesday 6:00 pm-7:15 pm. We offer two sessions for those that are new to the sport of wrestling. You can register for Session 1 with the option to continue and register for Session 2 for an additional $50.  NO TOURNAMENTS FOR THOSE REGISTERING FOR SESSION 2 ONLY.
Experienced  (3rd year wrestlers and up) and Middle School Aged Wrestlers: Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. If a middle school wrestler is a beginner, coaches will do their best to divide the room appropriately by experience.
