GMA Spring League
The Green Mountain Avalanche Spring Hockey League is open to all Mite, Squirts, PeeWee and Bantam levels. The goal of the GMA Spring League is give local players the opportunity to play in a competitive draft-style league. The GMA staff will select the teams with the goal of making each team in the league as balanced as possible.
All games will be played at Cairns Arena in South Burlington,VT.
In the first week, if a team is stronger or weaker than the other teams, we will make a trade to balance out the teams. The league will follow USA Hockey rules and each game will have two on-ice officials and an official scorer and time clock staff on hand. You will play a 10 league game schedule and will be provided a GMA uniform to keep.

Do you balance the teams / divisions?
Yes, during the first two weeks we evaluate the teams and divisions and make the appropriate changes so the league remains competitive.
