Congratulations to the boys from Jeffersontown who won back-to-back-to-back State Championships. This special group finished the season with a hard fought loss to Janesville, WI in the Cal Ripken Ohio Valley Regional semi-finals. Their overall season record was an impressive 55-3. Members of the team: Jacob Morley, Jackson Head, Alex Atkins, Alexander Adams, Alex Smith, John Ullom, Hunter Groves, Travis Simpson, Trent Young, Brandon Tucker, Ryan Hamilton, Kaleb Hofmeister. 11U Baseball 2009 Dizzy Dean World Series Champions
Thirty-five teams from FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, and KY participated in the World Series in Commerce/Jackson County, Georgia. The boys from Jeffersontown brought home the title finishing with a record of 7-0. Members of the team: Nathan Conard, Vincent Lococo, Zac Ching, Jake Woosley, Adam Elliott, Brandon Messex, Shaun Sullivan, Landon Campbell, Dalton Jones, Taylor Ferry, Gabe Schmitt, Hunter Guthrie. Coaching staff: David Lococo, Mike Sullivan, Mike Messex, Craig Conard, Doug Woosley, Taylor Ferry, David Elliott.
Dalton Jones was crowned World Series Most Valuable Player. Taylor Ferry, Gabe Schmitt, and Hunter Guthrie were awarded All-Tournament Team honors. Dalton Jones finshed the tournament with 5 HR and a 1-0 pitching record.
