Game/Practice cancellations

It is the policy of the Conemaugh Valley School District that if school gets cancelled so will the activities for the evening. This will include all Hockey games and practices.

Player School Absence Policy

November 5, 2011
All players have to be in school by 8:36 a.m. Monday through Thursday to be able to practice or play a game that day without a doctors excuse. Players must be in school by 8:30 a.m. on Fridays to be eligible to practice or play a game on the weekends (Sat or Sun) without a doctors excuse.

Please be advised that if the last day of school for the week falls before Friday due to a holiday or teachers in-service, players absent the day before may not practice or play a game without a doctors excuse until the next school day has resumed.

If a player leaves school during the day without a doctors excuse, they cannot practice or play that day and the same applies for Fridays and the weekend.

Extracuricular Policy

November 5, 2011
Student attendance, academic standing, and discipline will be considered when allowing a student to participate in extracurricular activities. Administration will have the final say regarding student participation if that student is failing 1 or more subjects.
