Thanks to all of the Softball Teams that participated in our 2010 Lady Luck Tournament Series for 12U,14U,16U,18U and 23U. Many Thanks go out to the Niagara Falls High School Board for providing a great location to hold these tournaments at the Niagara Falls High School for the 2010 Season. Many Thanks go out to the Guys at the High School for providing us Quality Diamonds to host our Lady Luck Tournaments. They worked very hard and did a fantastic Job again in 2010. The Gamblers Lady Luck Tournament Series games are played at Cayuga's 93rd St. Complex or Niagara Falls High School. Beautiful skinned diamonds, concessions, restrooms, and free parking. The 14U Fall Frenzy hosted by Gamblers Softball was captured by the New Era Diamond Girls-Opera who defeated the Rochester Thunder in the Championship Game by a score of 8-4. Mother Nature was once again a big help with sunny and warm temperatures on both Saturday & Sunday.

2007 LADY LUCK 12U RESULTS

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WNY DIAMOND GIRLS (BLACK) TEAM FOR WINNING THIS YEAR'S 12U LADY LUCK TOURNAMENT ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. THE DIAMOND GIRLS WENT 7-0 IN THE TOURNAMENT, WHICH WAS CAPPED OFF BY AN EXCITING CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WHERE THEY REBOUNDED FROM A 4-0 DEFICIT IN THE SIXTH INNING TO THE PITTSFORD CYCLONES (RIVERA) TO WIN THE GAME 8-5. THE RALLY WAS CAPPED OFF BY TWO HOME RUNS, ONE BY MVP LAUREN MUNI WITH TWO RUNNERS ON TO TIE THE GAME 4-4.

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC TOURNAMENT, WITH SOME GREAT BALL PLAYED BY ALL THE GIRLS. ALL GAMES WERE PLAYED ON TIME, AND THE FIELD CONDITIONS WERE GREAT AS MOTHER NATURE HELD OFF ON THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE PREDICTED FOR THE AREA ON SUNDAY. A SPECIAL THANKS GOES OUT TO THE NIAGARA FALLS SCHOOL DISTRICT GROUNDSCREW FOR ALL THEIR EFFORTS IN MAKING THIS TOURNAMENT RUN SO SMOOTHLY.

2006 Fall Frenzy 12u Results

Amherst Lightning(Rizzo)took the Championship this year in the 12U Division. All the teams played tough, with some outstanding plays and catches in many of the pool play and elimination games. What a way to start your 2007 season!! Congrats to the Lightning and Good Luck in 2007 to all participating teams!!

2006 Fall Frenzy 14u Results

The WNY Sting captured the Championship Trophy of the Fall Frenzy 14U Division this year at Cayuga's 93rd Street facility. The weekend was filled with all sorts of weather. Cold, Wind and Rain all had a shot at the Cayuga Grounds crew but with all hands ready to go, all games were played. The Championship Game pitted WNY Sting vs Cayuga Gamblers with the Sting coming out victorious.

2006 Lady Luck 12u Results

The 2006 Lady Luck 12u Tournament was held Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-28, 2006. There were a total of 12 teams entered in this tournament which was held at Niagara Falls High School. This was our inaugural tournament weekend, and was a great success! Congratulations to the 12u Syracuse Renegades and coaches Mark Harbaugh, Jeff Cirillo, & Randy Sabourin for taking home this year's trophy.

2006 Lady Luck 14u Results

Congratulations to The Lancaster/Depew Heat for this past weekends victory in the 1st 14U Cayuga Lady Luck Tournament Series. They defeated the #1 seed Lady Express 9-1 in the Championship Game Sunday afternoon at our 93rd Street facility. Lindsay Amendola was chosen the game M.V.P for her work in the circle,keeping the batters of balance for most of the game!

Friday Nights games were iffy to start but our grounds crew worked well under pressure in the afternoon mist to make the scheduled games happen. Saturday went well as the weather became more cooperative and Sunday was just excellent!!

Thanks to all the volenteers that worked the concessions to make this tournament a success.

2006 Lady Luck 16u Results

Congratulations to Hamburg Gold 16U! They captured the hardware at this past weekends Lady Luck Series 2006 16U tournament. A special congratulations goes out to MVP Lauren Smith for smashing a grand slam over the right field fence in the Championship Game - great hit! What a weekend with Friday night rain and then near record temperatures, hovering around 90 degrees all weekend. Galassi's Elite finished 2nd! A big thank you goes out to the grounds crew at NFHS for making sure all games got off after a ton of rain fell on Friday eve! A small delay on Saturday morning but then all games played in full.
