G-League Player Participation Rules:
- Each player must play in the field a minimum of 2 innings by the end of the 4th inning, and at least 4 innings in a 6 inning game. Also, 1 of the innings in the field must be at an infield position.
- A player may pitch no more than 9 outs per day.
- A player may not pitch on successive calendar days (except in tournaments).
If you become aware that these rules are not being followed, discuss with the coach immediately while the mistake can be corrected without a game forfeit being required.

Rainout Hotline
To know whether a game or practice will be affected by adverse weather conditions, first call the Northville Parks & Rec number below to see if the field has been closed. If weather conditions are marginal, but the field has not been identified as closed on the hotline, teams are to report to the field for a game time decision between the coaches and umpires. Michigan weather has been known to present a downpour at 4pm followed by sunshine and playable conditions at 6:30pm.
Field status is usually updated at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM each day.

2009 G-League: Important Dates
Welcome to the NBSA G-league Baseball Program. For those of you wondering what dates to reserve on your calendar, consider the following my best estimate of how the season will play out:
All players contacted no later than: April 12
Practices: April 13-April 26 (1 or 2 practices per week: 1 during the week, 1 on the weekend)
Games Begin: April 27 (typically 2 games per week and 1 weekend practice)
Mid-Season Tournament: May 22 (evening) - May 28
World Series Tournament: June 22 (evening) - June 27
Games are played generally Su-Fr, and may start 6pm, 6:30m or 8pm (on weekdays), or earlier in the afternoon on Sundays. To get a better idea, click on the "Game Schedules" link on the upper left side of this page, and then select "G-League East Division" on the radio button in the top center of the page. This will display some of last years schedule.
