The OVGSL holds a regular season (12-15 games) followed by a postseason tournament in each age division with trophies and medals awarded. The regular season begins around the last weekend of April with playoffs finishing up around the last week of June. Scheduling is done by the OVGSL board with consideration to all local community needs. The OVGSL tries to minimize travel and provides each team a majority of their games played in their local community. Umpires and field maintenance are the responsibility of the home team. All league information, schedules, standings, rules, directions, and coaches information are listed on our website www.ovgsl.com.

The OVGSL follows ASA softball rules with a few modifications to best suit the needs of the league. The OVGSL has voting members from each community that meet quarterly to discuss any proposed changes to the league or rules. The OVGSL is always open to expansion with other communities in the Ohio Valley! There are no entry fees for the league. If interested in joining the OVGSL in any of the 4 age divisions, please send an e-mail to ovgsl@yahoo.com.
