Caring Cupboard Game - October 14th

14 October, 2017 – 02:30 PM

Please join us in supporting The Caring Cupboard at the Cougars game against the Lower Dauphin Falcons on September 6th at the In The Net.  JV game starts at 11:45 AM.  Varsity game follows at 2:30 PM.

The Caring Cupboard serves over 130 families per week, approximately 1600 individuals, who run short of food and other essential items for the home. The Caring Cupboard is in special need of canned chicken, tuna, pasta sauce (plastic jars or cans), peanut butter and also toiletries (toilet paper, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes).

All fans in attendance are encouraged to donate food items and/or other essential items as they enter the game.  Monetary donations can also be made in the form of cash or a check to “The Caring Cupboard”.

STUDENTS ONLY: Students who bring a 2 or more food items to donate get into the game for $1!

Last year we donated nearly 233 pounds of food for Caring Cupboard! Let’s try to beat that number!

Thank you in advance for your support of this worthwhile cause.

Elementary School Visit

As part of our Caring Cougars program, many players from the High School Boys Soccer team were out in the elementary schools the last few weeks reading to various classrooms in all four of our elementary schools. Twenty athletes from our team spent time in the classroom visiting with various grades from 1st to 4th . The boys enjoyed sharing the story with the kids as well as answering lots of interesting questions about high school, sports, and even the prom! Thanks to our teachers for allowing time for the soccer boys to visit.

See the story on the Palmyra Area School District portal.

Library Cleanup

Coach Hull was joined by 18 soccer players to do some clean up at the Palmyra Public Library.
