The Radnor Boys Crew Club (RBCC) recently held its annual Learn to Row camp in Conshohocken. Rising 7th, 8th and 9th grade boys enrolled in Radnor Middle and High Schools were invited to the free instructional camp to learn the basics of rowing. Students practiced technique on ergometers (rowing machines) and on the water, and also learned how to rig and de-rig the boats. Thirty four students participated in the week-long camp this year, which was led by Rowing Director Ken Piree and Head Coach Valeria Gospodinov. Current varsity team rowers also aided with instruction. For more information on RBCC, a varsity club sport at Radnor High School, please visit radnorcrew.org.
