PHS Alum inducted into DECC Hall of Fame

 

1969 PHS grad Tom MacLeod has been inducted into the DECC Hall of Fame.  MacLeod played football for Proctor and then continued his career at the University of Minnesota.  After his college career, MacLeod was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Colts.  After his rookie year, MacLeod finished third in the rookie of the year balloting.  MacLeod played linebacker.  His stats while he was playing for the Colts in four years: 64 games played with 47 starts.  He had 5 interceptions for 95 total yards and a long interception return of 50 yards.  He also had 6 fumble recoveries.  He was selected as a All Pro in 1975 along with Hall of Fame inductee linebackers from the Pittsburgh Steelers: Jack Lambert and Jack Hamm.  His NFL career was from 1973 - 1978.  He currently resides in Spokane Washington.
