Transportation to Away Games

Players and Parents:

For away games (games outside of Salem), it is club policy NOT to have athletes drive themselves. It is very important that you and your player work together to get signed up on the TRANSPORTATION SHEET that is located on the transportation tab on the left. Meeting times and locations are listed here along with directions and any special instructions like bringing money or dinner/snacks.

1. We need to know for every away game if the player is going Y/N

2. Then is the parent is driving?  Please enter the number of seats for your son or daughter and more if you can take additional players.  Even if you can only drive your own-please write "1".  If you can take your player plus 2 others, you write "3". If you can't drive, leave blank or enter "0". This is a formula, so we need accurate data.

We ask that you sign up at least 3 days in advance so we can get the car assignments done with plenty of time to spare. The kids will be assigned to cars on the "assigned seating" tab of the transportation sheet.

Please email us if there is anything special about the transportation. We all leave from the parking lot, so even if you carpooling/picking up specific kids, make sure to let us know and then meet at the location so we can check all the players off.

all players will stay in tent city in the grass area in front of the high school.  We set up girls tents in one area and boys tents in another. There is no going in the opposite genders tents whatsoever. Coaches and parent chaperones if camping will stay in the same area/ but in their own tents. the gathering spot is in the middle of tent city. Coaches and parent chaperones will be on site the entire weekend.

They do not provide RV hook ups in the parking lot, and there is no parking of RV's directly in front of the school.

They have 3 port a potties, and showers and bathrooms in the locker room, but that closes at 9:45 each night.

Kids will need to be ready for bed by 10. That is when we will take role call.

If you wish to stay in a hotel there are several options nearby.

Departure time is unknown, but we usually arrive in Salem around 6.  Please keep in touch with your player if you are picking them up from SSHS on Sunday.
