These are areas where 'any' zone is vulnerable. Once the ball is in these hot spots, the zone is forced to make rotations. The floor opens up, and you can make pinpoint passes for layups and 12 foot jumpers all day. The other key to beating the zone is overloading one side of the floor. Force the defense to choose which players they will guard... they'll inveitably leave some one open.
