Slidell Youth Football Association

As many of you know, our beloved park was directly hit by Wednesday's EF-2 tornado. We are still assessing the severity of our damages and discussing options with our insurance company. Our board has also been meeting frequently to develop our plan of action. Until further notice, all events have been canceled at our facility. We are actively working on moving the remainder of the Slidell NFL Flag games to another location so that the kids can finish the season.

Due to the amount of debris and the severity of the damages, it is not safe for anyone to come to SYFA now. Once we are given the green light to proceed with clean-up, we will let everyone know how they can assist! We plan to put all information out promptly, and we will surely need all hands on deck when it is time. Again, please do not attempt to come to SYFA at this time because it is unsafe!

On behalf of the entire SYFA Board, we appreciate your patience as we navigate this journey towards rebuilding. With almost 60 years of dedicated service to the children in our community, a catastrophic event such as this one takes quite an emotional toll on many members of our community.
