The Pride would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to our new friends that helped us in our practices and scrimmages this summer. The Pride was lucky to have met a group of skilled soccer players from Russia that were living in the United States to work for the summer months. They met us faithfully every Saturday. Who says world peace can't be achieved through soccer!! The Pride girls learned new skills from watching their friends play. They were even treated to seeing a goal scored from a bicycle kick during their scrimmage. The Pride exchanged signed soccer balls with the guys so that they would always have something to remind them of the fun times had by all. The Pride would especially like to thank Anton and Alex. We hope you have a safe journey home, and always remember your games with the American girls soccer team!
