Welcome to the home of the LBJH cheerleading team!
The team is coached by Julia Kavanagh Teri-Lynn Butt and Katie Best and our assistant coach is Emily Kavanagh. Their teacher sponser for this year is Ms.Watton.
The team practices 2:45-4:15 with additional practices scheduled for different times.
The team is made up of girls from grades 7-9 who are from the St.John's, Portugal Cove, and the St.Phillips area. Leary's Brook feeds into Prince of Wales Collegiate and many of the girls go on to be part of the high school team. We will be cheering PWC on this year and can't wait to see all they have done! The girls will also be cheering for Larkhall Academy as it is the elementary school that feeds into Leary's Brook. The girls will be working with the elementary school throughout the year.
The team plans to practice very hard this year and can't wait to see what all the other teams have come up with and they wish good luck to everyone!
