Jr. Midget (aka) "Never Say Die Comeback Kids"
This season, our Jr. Midget Team took the success of 2011 and decided early on they were going to make the 2012 season even more exciting…AND SO THEY DID!!!
On November 4th The Elizabeth Packer Jr. Midgets won their very first organizatio...n Eastern Region finals in a 20 – 14 victory against the New City Rams. This victory allowed the Jr. Midgets to advance to the quarter finals which took place on November 10th.
Yesterday afternoon during the quarter final games, by the third quarter, our Jr. Midgets were scoreless at a score of 0-24. Some said it could not be done, but as they are now affectionately known as “Never say die, Cardiac Comeback Kids” our Jr. Midgets came back from a 0-24 score to overcome the Franklin Warrior 26-24….2 STEPS AWAY FROM WALT DISNEY
