G.D.W.L. spring training website
Spring Training is a big deal to some of us, & some league's only want to participate in exhibition games with us preferably in Spring Training, so therefore, it has it's own site, check it out, it will tell you everything you need to know, sometimes with game results from the exhibition games & tournaments.
Green Bears
The founding team of the G.D.W.L. has finally gotten their own website, check it out. it's very informative
Vipers
Well since the green bears got their own site, the vipers decided that they would also, check it out...
GDWL merchandise
this site is supply in demand buddy icons, livejournal icons, wallpapers & such of the guys & gals of the GDWL, check it out, it's not much now, but is always being updated. Fans should be satisfied, content, happy.
Marina Wiffleball League
Technically the oldest league in Hurricane, it's sort of a sister league to the GDWL, they hardly play & the league is renoun for never keeping scoresheets during gameplay, at the Brick's Nest (m.w.l.'s field) it's all about fun...100%!
Hurricane City Wiffleball
The 'project' of all the leagues in the hurricane area combining (in a way) into one super-league to heat up the competition. The GDWL, MWL, Winners Circle wiffleball league, & division 3 are featured in this project. HCW (Hurricane City Wiffleball) started by Cory Preece, The Polish Wonder, Matt Stowers, & Dr. Funky Green.
Hurricane Cows
The newest team to the HCW rural division of the GDWL. Team includes Hurricane High School's Jake Logan, Nima S. & former Kung-Fu Panda : Aaron "Agent Matthew Jones" Prince.
Neopolitan Creamers
Team started last year by Corey Preece, The Polish Wonder, & Dr. Funky Green. Since then (last summer) Dr. Funky Green stuck with his own Green Bears & the other 2 were left standing, but they've signed 3 others. Check them out, they're going to be contenders this season.
Winners Circle Wiffleball League
BRAND NEW league in the Hurricane Area, great field & few players, lots of potential, check this site out.
London Wiffleball League
This league has a tournament every summer that is nationally recognized in the wiffleball community. Their 7th annual tournament will take play on August 6th, 2005. The GDWL has been invited to participate, but still have to work out the details.
Major League Wiffleball
"This league took it to another level, wiffleball is where it is today because of this (MLW) league. They offer the childhood flashback quality that few league actually can say they have : that culdesac street corner & houses all around. This league is my personal inspiration, back when I was a younger lad & I typed in wiffleball in the yahoo search engine, they spit this link out to me first, this was my first glance into seeing that I wasn't alone in organized wiffleball." - Dr. Funky Green
Cleveland Wiffleball League (CWL)
Josh Carwright from the league e-mailed us and informed us of this new league, the site is very nice, by the way. check it out. this league seems to be very promising.
Wifflehouse.com
A league of unity is one way to explain this league, "the website is handsdown the most consistently impressive site out there" - Dr. Funky Green.
Wifferball
Dr. Funky Green admires Dr. Thunder (of wifferball) for replying & adding them onto their links, he also likes Dr. Thunder b/c he enjoys the moxy that we output. Check them out, they're a great league (their based in Illinois)
windy city wiffleball
This is a well recognized league nationally, they're doing big things in the windy city. Check out their site.
Fat Bastard Wiffleball
This league is serious, despite the humorous name. They're well organized & work with wifflehouse & the michigan wiffleball alliance on a regular basis. It'd be nice if the GDWL can make it to one of their legendary tournaments they hold yearly.
New England Wiffleball Assoc.
Just north of us in the eutopia region of wiffleball...New England. We have membership on the website although we're just south of them. This league is good about getting the leagues out for tournaments.
Matt Velez Wiffleball League (Wheeling Wiffleball Assoc.)
They are in the same state as us, but as far as wheeling is from hurricane, we've never crossed paths, we're working on it though, sort of, they scarcely post/update their website anymore, but somehow they've become nationally recognized, possibly for playing MLY a few times.
Nettleton Baptist Church Wiffleball
The only church with a wiffleball team, beat that! They haven't done much with the website in a year or two, but who knows, they still might be kicking it up down there in Arkansas.
HMWL
An impressive site with extraordinary graphics & a newspaper like layout at times. This league really sticks out in the wiffleland of Massachusetts
Fast Plastic
Very big, very organized, very informative, very cool. Check out their site.
Wiffleup
it's a huge wiffleball tournament, hopefully we can get there someday
Home Run League Online
great site that doesn't update as frequently as some, but their updates have an unlimited amount of information.
Matt's (from Wheeling) website
It's crazy, it's random, & it's interesting, Matt is a friend of Funky Green's in Wheeling, this site is ran by his friends & himself, it's pretty cool, check it out.
