MPSSAA Home Page
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, organized in 1946, is made up of 177 public high schools throughout Maryland. The MPSSAA derives its authority from the Maryland State Department of Education and the 24 local school systems, which are divided into 9 districts. The goal of the Association is to promote, direct, and regulate interscholastic athletics of the public high schools, as well as ensure a safe and educationally balanced program.
