Tackle Reading, Have Fun, and Build Strong Character

Every one of us wants to help instill strong character in children. Many of us try to be worthy role models. But we're human and we can't always be. Children should get examples of good character from television, movies and music. Often they do not. In fact, much of our culture offers the opposite.

However, determination, leadership, teamwork and character are apparent in many children's books. The following titles point out and underscore the benefits of these American and worldwide human values. Here is a chance to help your kids build their character -- and ENJOY reading.
