The Athlete's Corner
HISTORY
In 1979, Athlete's Corner began as a small business located in a restricted 200 Sq ft. corner across from the Swampscott beach. Athlete's Corner has since relocated and grown into 2 new retail locations. Moving our Swampscott location to Vinnin Square allowed us to expand both our customer base and offer more! Setting up another store in Andover allowed us to expand our offerings into other communities. The stores have grown over the years now allowing us to bring you more for your sporting goods and athletic needs. Originally Athlete's Corner concentrated on the running community. Today, we still hold ourselves to the high standards needed to service the runner, by offering correct fit and one-on-one customer service.
Athlete's Corner can now offer you the best in today's performance footwear, apparel, and accessories within many different sporting venues including: Swimming, Soccer, Aerobics, Basketball, Cheering, Baseball and mcuh more. Athlete's Corner has also grown to be one of the largest Team and Corporate Sales agencies in the Greater Boston,North Shore and Merrimac Valley regions. Our Team and Corporate Sales department offer customization for everything from Team uniforms to Business logoed bags and apparel. Athlete's Corner also offers our customers customized embroidery. We consider ourselves more then just a retail store, we are a community resource for a wide range of athletic needs.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our Boys Basketball program provides the student athlete an opportunity to participate in an organized and competitive environment. Participation in the basketball program is a privilege that each student earns by meeting and maintaining specific standards set forth by the administration and the coaching staff. The basketball program is committed to the physical, emotional, mental and social development of all participants.
Being part of a newly constructed facility can set the tone for providing our student athlete with an exceptional education and countless athletic opportunities. Players are encouraged to show respect for others and themselves, and learn to take responsibility for their actions, and to make intelligent, informed decisions, which translate into a well - developed individual.
