Break Time
OK That was fun. We spent the fall playing loose and mixing things up
Lots of good things happened
Jayson has become a full fledged "ace" of a pitcher
Doug's played great and turns out to be a heck of a catcher
Brian A has taken his hitting up to a new level
Brian H is hitting big again and even had his first home run
John Mehr has become impossible to strike out.
And new team member Joe Marro has already shown he's a player.
The Reds are looking for , serious, dedicated,hard working, fully committed, skilled players for next spring and summer. 2009 will have us playing in the 17 & 18 year old division. That means we do have roster spots open for HS Seniors as well as Juniors. Anyone interested in a tryout should contact Ed Hoey at Ned381@Yahoo.com. There will definitely be roster spots open.
Pitchers and catchers will get first priority but there are spots for position players that can hit
We are based in Wantagh. Practices are in Wantagh.Games are in Nassau and Western Suffolk for the most part. Winter BP will be at Baseball Plus in Hicksville.
If you're looking for a good team for 09 get in touch sooner rather than later and lock in your spot
