Welcome to the Offical site of the Michael Muniz Youth Baseball Foundation.
The Long Island Xtreme is the offical baseball club of the Michael Muniz youth Baseball foundation. We are a Travel Tournament club made up of ballplayers from Long Island.
In 2008 the Xtreme played with great success. In the Spring we played within D30 and did very well Finishing with a 16-6-1 record and fell short of District Season Champions with a loss in the final. In the summer we played in the NCYAA and finished 2nd in the standings for the season and a record of overall 19-5, we also played in the East Coast Tournament at Baseball Heaven. The fall we played in the FABL Fall league and finished with an 11-7 record. The Xtreme finished with a 42-21-1 record for the season for a total of 64 games played.
Upcoming events:
17U Batting Practice Thursday 12/4 at Baseball Plus 8pm. All players must show up. Please Bring $10 for cage.
Also anyone interested in trying out for the Xtreme 17U or 16U you can come down to any of our batting practices to be evaluated.
Can't be 18 Before May 1, 2009 for 17U and can't be 17 before May 1, 2009 for 16U.

I can help those that want to go to college to play ball with a letter of Recommendation, as your travel baseball coach I can give you a letter of recommendation to any college you would be interested in,but you must sign up. This goes for all the players 17U and 16U . I don't mind helping those that want to help themselves. The Long Island Xtreme will play over 70+ games in the 2009 season,consisting of local games and tournaments in NY,PA and upstate NY area. We are looking forward to a good challenging and competitive season.

MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of the Long Island Xtreme Baseball Team is to provide the highest level of competitive baseball, while at the same time, paying attention to the development of the individual player. My Coaching staff aim to build character in our players, and show them that hard work and dedication are the keys to a successful baseball career.
