TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Bridgewater Baseball is hosting a tournament for 8U –13U age groups town teams only with a mix of A and B divisions, 46/60, 50/70 and 60/90 play. 14U – 15U age groups are open to town teams and club teams. The tournament will be played in 5 days (Wed - Sun). Pool play will be Wed - Sat and each team will play a double header in pool play. Semi-finals and Finals will be held on the final day (Sunday). THIS IS A NEW FORMAT THAN PAST YEARS! 10 teams in each division with 2 brackets of 5 teams. Depending on response, some brackets can be 8 or 12 teams. Games will be hosted at various locations in Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The Prince Rodgers complex features 5 lighted fields, concessions and bathrooms. Fields include 46/60 and 50/70 convertible lighted fields: Prince Rodgers (2 & 3), Prince Rodgers (4), Prince Rodgers (5) 60/90 fields – Prince Rodgers 1 lighted field, Torpey 1 lighted field, and BRHS Team and individual trophies for the top 2 teams at each age Division. General Rules Maximum of 15 players on a roster. Teams must bat the entire roster (8u-12u) or play 9 with an optional 10th extra hitter (EH). Free defensive substitution in the field (except for the pitcher). Cal Ripken Rules for 8u-12u (single barrel bats only). High School (BRHS) rules for 13u-15u (double barrel bats). See web site for detailed game and tournament rules. Entry Fee 8u teams - $625/team includes umpires. 9u to 15u teams - $650/team includes umpires. The entire tournament will be played in 5 days (Wednesday – Sunday). Pool play will be Wednesday - Saturday and each team will play a double header in pool play. Semi-finals and Finals will be held on the final day (Sunday). The districts and regional tournaments are being played in our complex. Therefore, we have limited flexibility for the playoff schedules. Pool play must games must be completed by the playoff start date. Teams that are unable to play will forfeit the game. As soon as the playoff teams are decided by pool play, the teams will be filled into playoff schedule. Game Change Process All game changes will be handled by the tournament director, including rain outs.
