The rink is very close to downtown Oakland, near where I-880 and I-980 meet, about 3 miles from the I-580 / I-80 interchange.
Traveling north on I-880, pass the Oakland Colliseum, entering the downtown Oakland area. The three right lanes of I-880 take you directly onto I-980. Take the second exit from I-980, 17th Street / San Pablo. Take a right at the light, onto 17th. The third light is San Pablo. Turn left onto San Pablo, then an immediate right onto 18th. Park. Play hockey. The rink is on your right.

Most other routes (from San Francisco / Bay Bridge, from Berkeley / Richmond Bridge, or from Sacramento / Stockton) will lead to the I-80 / I-580 interchange. I-580 connects to I-980 which connects to I-880 south. Follow the signs to "Downtown Oakland" and "I-880 San Jose", which will put you on I-980. The exit off I-980 is labeled 18th Street / 14th Street. When you exit the freeway, turn left at the second light, onto 17th street. The 4th light is San Pablo. Turn left onto San Pablo, then an immediate right onto 18th. The rink is on your right.
