FORT HAMILTON HS POOL, BAY RIDGE, BKLYN (See Handouts For Map)

The entrance to the Fort Hamilton HS pool is on 83rd Street between Shore Road and Narrows Avenue in Bay Ridge. One of the easiest ways to get to the FHHS Pool from Windsor Terrace, Park Slope, Kensington and Brownstone Brooklyn is to make your way to Fourth Avenue and go south to Bay Ridge.
Though it may be slower than the highway, there is less chance that you will be caught in traffic. After you go south on Fourth Avenue, make a right turn onto 82nd Street and go west. After you go west on 82nd Street, you make a left turn onto Narrows Avenue.
Begin to look for on street parking. Do not block a driveway, fire hydrant or pedestrian ramp because you may be ticketed and towed. If you do not find parking on Narrows Avenue, continue south one block and make a left turn onto 83rd Street. You should be able to find parking next to the athletic field. (Note that Narrows Avenue is blocked between 83rd and 85th Streets.)
Once you have parked, make your way to the entrance of the meet. The entrance is on 83rd Street between the Pool and the Gymnasium. The cost of admittance is probably still $1 for spectators. (REMEMBER: NO JEWELRY FOR SWIMMERS)
