| From State Route 16 (SR16; aka, HWY16,) take the Purdy/Key Center/Shelton (SR302 West) exit. Turn West onto SR302. Follow the main highway approximately 10½ miles to the park. IMPORTANT NOTE: At Elgin-Clifton Rd., (approx. the 5-mile mark,) SR302 (or Elgin-Clifton Rd.) bears right toward Allyn, Shelton and Belfair. DO NOT bear right - DO NOT continue following SR302 - Elgin-Clifton Rd.! Continue STRAIGHT at the Elgin-Clifton Rd. intersection where the road will become the Key Peninsula Hwy. (formerly the Gig Harbor-Longbranch Hwy.) (Note: If you pass a Shell station on the left, CONGRATULATIONS, you're half-way there!) Continue (southbound) following the highway another 5½ miles, approximately, passing straight through Key Center. Key Peninsula Volunteer Park will be on the right-hand side of the highway, (next to the Key Peninsula Middle School.)Geographic Information: Latitude (North): 47.30 (or 47º 18' 00'')
