Directions from the South (using A1):
• Follow A1 to North Wetherby. Leave the A1 and follow signs to Harrogate on the A661.
• Continue on this road into Harrogate.
• At the first roundabout, go straight across to join the A59 towards Skipton.
• Remain on this road out of Harrogate.
• Menwith Hill is located seven miles out of Harrogate and is signposted on the right hand side of the A59.
Directions from the South (using M1):
• Follow the M1 into Leeds. Exit following signs for A61/Harrogate.
• Continue on the A61 into Harrogate, (approximately 12 miles) and through the town centre until you come to the
first roundabout leaving town.
• Take the left turn onto the A59 towards Skipton (signposted RAF Menwith Hill).
Directions from the North (using A1):
• Leave the A1 to join the A61 to Ripon. Stay on the A61 through Ripon towards Harrogate. On entering
Killinghall (outskirts of Harrogate), turn right towards Otley (B6161).
• At the first roundabout, turn right to join the A59 towards Skipton.
• Menwith Hill is approximately six miles along this road on the right-hand side.
Directions from the West (using A59):
• Join the A59 where possible. Menwith Hill is approximately 12 miles past Skipton on this road, signposted on the
left-hand side.
Note:
Menwith Hill has some strict security measures that need to be adhered to for visiting teams to access the base and its facilities. A visitor list needs to be completed for your players and spectators to gain access to the base.
