You may also enter "South Western High School" in your Internet mapping search bar for field location. The baseball field is actually across the street from the high school, in the fields behind Emory Markle Intermediate School (field is right off of Baer Avenue).
From points east: Take best route to SR-116 WEST. Follow SR-116 into Hanover. When you pass a large Rutters convenience store on left at the intersection of SR-216 and 116 look for Mumma Avenue and then Center Street on the right. Immediately after Center Street turn LEFT onto Baer Avenue. Proceed south on Baer Avenue until you see athletic fields on the left. Turn LEFT into school driveway when you see batting cage and Mustangs dugout on left. (If using SR-216 WEST to get to SR-116, follow directions from point where SR-216 intersects with SR-116.)
From points north: Take best route to SR-94 SOUTH to Hanover. Follow SR-94 to Hanover Center Square where it intersects with SR-116. Turn LEFT at SR-116 EAST. You'll pass Hanover Hospital medical building on left, then John Street and then Peter Street on RIGHT. After pter Street turn RIGHT on Baer Avenue. Proceed south on Baer Avenue until you see athletic fields on the left. Turn LEFT into school driveway when you see batting cage and Mustangs dugout on left.
From points west: Go EAST on US30 to SR-94 SOUTH at Cross Keys OR take best route to SR-116 EAST and follow either SR-94 SOUTH (from US30)or SR-116 EAST to Hanover Center Square. At Center Square (intersection of SR-116 and SR-94) proceed EAST on SR-116. You'll pass Hanover Hospital medical building on left, then John Street and then Peter Street on RIGHT. After pter Street turn RIGHT on Baer Avenue. Proceed south on Baer Avenue until you see athletic fields on the left. Turn LEFT into school driveway when you see batting cage and Mustangs dugout on left.
From points south: Take best route to PA SR-94 NORTH to Hanover Center Square. Turn RIGHT onto SR-116 EAST. You'll pass Hanover Hospital medical building on left, then John Street and then Peter Street on RIGHT. After Peter Street turn RIGHT on Baer Avenue. Proceed south on Baer Avenue until you see athletic fields on the left. Turn LEFT into school driveway when you see batting cage and Mustangs dugout on left. |
