Navy - McMillan Rink
|
With games starting this weekend at the new Navy Rink I just wanted to give everyone directions to the new facility. It is NOT on the Naval Academy itself but across the Severn River next to the Naval Academy Golf Course. While it is still on US Government property, there is no gate to pass through. Directions are:
-Highway 50 toward Annapolis
-Take exit 27 (Highway 450) toward the Naval Academy (This exit will be the first one after you cross the Severn River on Highway 50)
-Follow 450 until you come to the US Naval Academy Bridge (Across the Severn)
-There will be a stoplight as you get to the bridge, at the stoplight make a left
-Follow this road all the way back (will go through one stoplight and it will cut through the golf course)
-The rink will be big brown building on the right (Rest of building is still under construction)
-The temporary entrance to the rink is around the back (right side of building)

Also, please be advised that the remaining parts of the building are still under construction including the restaurant. If you want something to drink while watching (coffee for those early games) you will need to bring it with you for now.
