Wantage Rec (Lott Rd)

From Traveling North on Rt. 23
Go north on Rt. 23 into the town of Hamburg.
Once you pass the traffic light in Hamburg which intersects with Rt. 94, continue on Rt. 23 north for four more traffic lights (into the town of Sussex) and make a right hand turn at the light onto Rt. 284 North (Gulf gas station on left and Sussex Boro Municipal Building on the right).
Go about 3 miles on Rt. 284 north and you will see a professional building on the left called the Wantage professional building.
Continue past this building and make your next left hand turn onto Rose Morrow Road.
Follow Rose Morrow Road to stop sign (1 mile) and make a right hand turn at the stop sign onto Lott Road.
Go about 1/4 mile and you will see the entrance on right hand side for the Wantage Recreational Fields (also known as the Lott Road fields).
Turn right onto Born Road into the Park and go about 1/2 mile until you reach soccer field.
Traveling North from Rt. 15
Take Rt. 15 north. Rt. 15 north becomes a two lane highway in Sparta. Continue on Rt. 15 north about 7-8 more miles until you reach the traffic light which intersects with Rt. 206 and Rt. 565.
Make a right hand turn at the traffic light onto Rt. 565 north(Skylands Minor League Baseball Stadium will be on your left hand side after turn).
Follow Rt. 565 about 7 miles and when you come to a traffic light, go straight through which now becomes Loomis Avenue.
At next traffic light go straight through which is now Rt. 23 South.
The road take a sharp right hand turn shortly after the light where there is another traffic light.
Make a left hand turn at this light onto Rt. 284 north (diner on right hand side, Sussex Boro Municipal building on left side).
Go about 3 miles on Rt. 284 north and you will see the Wantage Professional Building on the left.
Continue on Rt. 284 north and make next left hand turn onto Rose Morrow Road.
Follow Rose Morrow Road to stop sign and make a right hand turn onto Lott Road.
Travel on Lott road for 1/4 mile and entrance to Wantage Recreation Fields (aka Lott Road Fields) will be on your right hand side.
Turn right onto Born Road into the Park and go about 1/2 mile until you reach soccer field. |
