Oceanport - Maple Place School
From Garden State Parkway and Route 18:
Follow Garden State Parkway (south or north) to Exit 105 (Eatontown -Long Branch - Fort Montmouth exit) or Route 18 (east or west) to the same exit. Go through/around toll booth (depending if you are coming frorn the north or south on Parkway) or just exit left or right (if you are on Route 18). You are now on Route 36 extension headed east towards Long Branch and the ocean. Follow Rte 36 for about 4 miles in which you'll pass the Monmouth Mall on your right and eventually Monmouth Park racetrack on your left.
After passing Monmouth Park racetrack, you'll go over the railroad tracks, following the road bearing left up to the next light which is Branchport Ave. Landmarks are a 7-1l store on your right and a Getty gas station on your left. Make left turn on Branchport Ave.
Follow Branchport Av. over the railroad tracks bearing left ahead passing Casa Cornida Mexican restaurant on your left. Continue over the bridge into Oceanport. Up ahead, go past the next light (Port Au peck Ave.) and make the next right turn (Shrewsbury Ave.). Follow Shrewsbury Ave. about 50 yards into the clearing and the school is on your right. Make right turn on Maple Place and park behind the school and use that entrance.
From Route 35:
If coming North on Rte 35 (from the Asbury park, Ocean Township direction), make right turn onto Rte 36 extension (Monmouth Mall on your left) and follow the directions listed above for coming frorn the Parkway. If driving South on Route 35 (from the Red Bank and North area), follow Rte 35 around jughandle at Eatontown (just past entrance to Fort Monmouth). Around jughandle, follow what is now "Main Street" straight for about two miles passing Monmouth Park on your right (you're on the other side). Past Monmouth Park, go over the railroad tracks and at the next light (Branchport and Port Au peck), make left turn. Follow Branchport Ave. to next right turn (Shrewsbury Ave.). Make right turn onto Shrewsbury. Up ahead 50 yards, make hard right on Maple Place and park behind the school. Enter through the back entrance.
Local Route:
From Northern locations such as Fair Haven, Rumson, Red Bank, etc., follow Seven Bridges Road over bridge into Oceanport. At second left turn (Monmouth Boulevard), make left turn onto Monmouth Boulevard. hall is adjacent to the right once turning. Ahead about 50 yards, make right turn at sign for Long Branch. This is the other side of Branchport Ave. Follow Branchport Ave. to third left turn
(Shrewsbury Ave.). Make left onto Shrewsbury Ave. About 50 yards ahead, make hard right onto Maple Place. Park behind the school and use that entrance.
