MISSION STATEMENT
It is our intention to provide each participant with an atmosphere in which to appreciate the importance of character, integrity, and sportsmanship through the medium of amateur baseball. Further, we want to encourage each player to develop and incorporate a work ethic that will extend his baseball knowledge and skills to the highest possible level. Our ultimate goal is that all of the above factors combined will result in success on and off the baseball field.
Our goals for each individual and the team are:
1. To contribute to the continuing development of player self-
esteem and confidence.
2. To strengthen fundamental baseball knowledge and
playing ability.
3. To learn to accept one’s mistakes and move on, knowing that others have confidence in you.
4. To realize that having confidence in oneself can be the difference between success and failure.
5. To count on and to trust one’s instincts for success on and off the field.
6. To recognize when to be a leader and when to be a follower to contribute to team success.
7. To understand that teamwork is more important than individual success.
8. To encourage support of the team concept and team spirit.
9. To gain exposure to quality baseball through coaching, competition and tournament play.
10. To experience life situations as a consequence of team
travel and tournament play.
11. To understand the importance of setting and achieving goals, not only for the improvement of skills and the game, but for every aspect of life.
And the Coaches: FOR LOVE OF THE GAME!
