TOURNAMENT RAINED OUT!
Mother Nature has won. As of 7:00 this morning, the remainder of the 2008 Meadville Mayhem Classic has been cancelled. Refunds to teams that played less than 2 games will be forwarded ASAP. Thank you to everyone for your participation.

Saegertown wins first annual Meadville Mayhem 12U Classic!
May 20, 2007
Congratulations to the Saegertown baseball club for winning the championship at the first annual Meadville Mayhem Baseball Classic.
Saegertown defeated the Allegheny Heat 7-2 in the Championship. Allegheny had finished pool play as the #1 seed, Saegertown was the #2 seed, the Lake Erie Pirates were the #3 seed, and Wattsburg was the #4 seed.
In the semi-finals Saegertown defeated the Pirates 3-2 in extra innings. The Allegheny Heat defeated Wattsburg 15-0. After the Heat jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning of the Championship tilt, Austin Scere tied it with a two strike homerun for Saegertown. Saegertown continued to apply the pressure and pulled away for the 7-2 victory. Congratulations to both teams on a well played tournament.
Many thanks to all of the members of the Meadville Baseball family for their hard work to make this first annual tournament a success! The fields were in great shape, everything stayed on time, and the weather held up. Good luck to all teams with the remainder of your seasons.
