Montgomery Girls Softball League Spring 2013 Online Registration

Welcome to the online registration for the 2013 Montgomery Girls Softball League. For the 2013 season, we will field teams at five levels:

Instructional League - All Kindergarten players and 1st grade players without prior experience
Minor League - 1st grade players with prior experience and all 2nd grade players
Junior League - 3rd and 4th grade players
Senior League - 5th and 6th grade players
Major League - 7th through 10th grade players

REGISTRATION COST
For 2013, registration costs are as follows:

Instructional League: $75 per player

Minor, Junior, Senior, and Major Leagues: $150 per player.

Those who register before January 16th, 2013 will receive one $25 credit per registrant for use at the merchandise tables on parent night.

Maximum fee per family is $300, no matter the number of players

Online registration must be accompanied by an online credit card payment using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or a Paypal account. Credit card payments made on our website are through a secured-server.

* SHORTS OPTION: Girls in the Junior, Senior, and Major Leagues have the option to wear shorts instead of pants. Please note that if your daughter wears shorts, she will also need to wear sliding shorts underneath her uniform shorts, as well as a sliding pad on her sliding leg. You will need to purchase both of these items separately, as we do not supply them as part of the uniform. We will have these items available for purchase on Parents' Night, or you can purchase them on your own.

NOTE: MGSL will NOT accept requests to play with a particular girl or a particular coach in the Junior, Senior and Major Leagues. This does NOT apply to the Minor and Instructional Leagues.

I assume and understand all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from activities. Additionally, I understand that the very nature of the game of softball is hazardous and risky, including, but not limited to, the acts of pitching, throwing, fielding and catching of the ball, the swinging of the bat, running, jumping, stretching, sliding, diving, and collisions with other players and with stationary objects, all of which can cause injury to my child and to other players.

Also, I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as made known to coaches and officials of the team and league.

I have explained to my child or children the need to follow directions from the softball directors and coaches, as well as the rules stated below:

To listen to the program directors and coaches carefully and to follow the directions that are given to me.
To display good sportsman-like conduct by playing fairly and avoiding rough play with other players.
To wear all of the appropriate safety equipment required to play this sport.
To respect all of the other participant's rights to enjoy the sport at his/her own level of play
