The Michigan Lawmen team was formed in 2000 and is comprised of law enforcement officers from Southgate, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Romulus, Taylor, Wyandotte, Livonia, Eastpointe, Macomb County, Woodhaven,Warren, Oakland County, Shelby Twp, Metropark Authority, Mt. Morris Twp, Dearborn and Garden City.
The Michigan Lawmen are a travelling team that primarily play in charity softball tournaments throughout the United States. These charity tournaments normally benefit families of fallen officers or for officers severely injured in the line of duty.
The Michigan Lawmen have a successful history dating back to 2000. The 2008 Lawmen are currently ranked 4th in the East according to PoliceSoftball.com; the official website of law enforcement softball.
