The Midtown Panthers are an 18 and over men's baseball team. Our players currently range from 19 to 33 years of age, and most have played in college.

We compete in the Baltimore Baseball League BBL which converted to a wood bat league in 2006 and is one of the most competitive men's leagues in the Baltimore area. Our combined record for the last 5 years is 98-62. Our team has been in the league since 1998.

Practices begin in March and the regular season runs from April through early August, with playoffs during August. There were 10 teams in the BBL for 2006 with the Panthers finishing the regular season in third place. The 2006 season was our most successful to date, as we played in the BBL championship, losing in extra innings in the final game of the series.

An all-star game and homerun derby are scheduled for late August. We usually compete in one tournament during the year.
