Camp Director - Sherron Wilkerson
Sherron Wilkerson is without a doubt one of the best players to have ever played the game in the Basketball capitol of Indiana. In 1993 he took his high school team, the Jeffersonville Red Devils to an IHSAA State Title. This resulted in Sherron being voted Indiana’s Mr. Basketball.
Sherron was also named the Gatorade player of the year for 1993, and played on the McDonalds All-American team with Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace. Sherron went on to play under hall of fame coach Bob Knight at Indiana University. He later suffered a spiral fracture to his leg while playing against the University of Maryland, which ended what many thought would be a promising NBA career before it ever began.
Sherron did go on to play professional basketball in Europe and had a very successful career in Israel. Sherron played in several Pro-Am games after returning to the States full time in 2002.
Sherron currently Coaches for the Southern Indiana Sharks, and continues to teach fundamental INDIANA basketball . . . with a flair! Sherron’s positive outlook, and upbeat teaching methods make learning enjoyable and memorable to all who enter a session Coached by this Indiana basketball great.
His future goals are to Coach Basketball at a division ONE college, and go on to take his team to an NCAA national title. His love for the game has not changed since childhood, nor has his desire to win.

Girls Guest speaker and Clinician, Coach Steve Small
Steve Small (Basketball)
Steve Small has spent over 29 years in education and in the coaching profession that took him from Mount Washington Junior High to head coach of the Western Kentucky University (WKU) Lady Hilltoppers, Steve retired from coaching in 2001. While at WKU, Steve served as assistant coach, assistant head coach and assumed the head coaching position from 1997 to 2001. During his tenure at WKU, the overall record was 410 - 168 with 15 trips out of 17 years to the NCAA's Big Dance. Steve has been involved in three Final Fours with one trip to the National Championship game in 1992 versus Stanford. As head coach, Steve's record was 89-39 and hie chargers made two NCAA appearances and one NIT post-season tournament.
In August 2001, Steve began some new adventures. He became the Sports Sales Director for the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitor's Bureau. He also has his own radio show called "The Right Call" on WKCT 93 AM every Monday and Thursday evening. Steve is also a color commentator for local high school games and is on the board of directors of the United Way.
