HISTORY
In the late 80's ARIZONA FINEST started as a Sandy Koufax (14 year olds) and Mickey Mantle (16 year olds) team and then a Connie Mack baseball team (17 & 18 year olds)that won the Arizona State Championship and represented Arizona in the Connie Mack Regional Tournament. This was a team that was made up of players from four school districts. Fom that team, several players went on to play at the Division 1 or JC baseball and a few signed Major League contracts. Due to the time commitment a few years later the ARIZONA FINEST team had to disband. As a member of the original coaching staff, Coach Driving Hawk has decided to start up the ARIZONA FINEST BASEBALL CLUB again in fall of 2000. And so far has done a great job with a nationally ranked and state ranked 14U team and 4 state ranked teams for 10,12,13, and 14 year old teams. And hopes to continue in fall of 2001 with a full 10,11,12,13, and 14 year old teams.
